The focus for this class will be tanning sheep hides (one per participant) this will give you a solid base for tanning other hides with hair on or furs. We will work on:

Skinning,

Gutting,

Organ use and preparation

while eating sheep meat, processing sheep bones and using as much of the animal as we can!

With the hunting and harvesting season about to begin, Living Wild school is offering an in depth intensive hide tanning and skin working program throughout the Fall and Winter.

Take individual classes or all of them (with a multiple class discount) and stay at the farm in between while experiencing a truly wintery landscape.

Rustic indoor shared accommodations are available for sleeping and there is a heated workshop space for projects.
