During the class a wide variety of tanning techniques will be covered, each student will:

• Brain tan their own reindeer hide with the wet scrape method.

• Learn bark tanning (each person will tan a

  fish skin)

• Learn dry scrape method tanning on a group project

• Learn the details for fur and hair on tanning methods

It will be hard work but fun!

Food will be purchased before the class. (Please bring 1000 NOK in cash to cover breakfast and dinner expenses)

Students should bring their own snack lunches that can be packed for excursions and do not require cooking.
