This class favourite is back!
In the prehistoric caves and along the banks of the river of Les Eyzies we invite you to come learn the skills of our paleoloithic ancestors.
Offering an unforgettable experience in ancient, tribal community life. The clan welcomes you.
Following the Basic skills segment at a magnificent camp we will take you on a journey on the stunning, meandering Vesere river.
Each night we will camp at a prehistoric site and practice the ancient art of fire making, eating wild foods harvested along the way and preparing our sacred concert for the Earth.
LEARN:
Friction and percussion fire making
Cord making from plant and animal sources
Flint knapping and other stone working technologies
Animal processing
Fat lamps
Wild food harvesting, cooking and preservation
Music, singing and story telling
Canoeing techniques (beginner level river)
Deep in the caves we will sing our thanks to the Earth
and on the river sing out thanks to the water.
Please bring an additional 100 euros in cash for the two meals that will be served each day based on local and paleo foods.
